The SKYWALK® design breaks up the monolithic character of the burnished brass and Taj Mahal leather quartzite kitchen island, making the island elements appear to be floating in the air despite being made of solid natural stone.

When Satin walnut veneer is applied to kitchen surfaces, it results in a particularly expressive image. The prerequisite, of course, is that you work “book-matched” – in other words, that you ensure a consistent grain pattern throughout. The tree is literally placed on the front surfaces.
